Who should attend?

The training course provides the necessary knowledge for professionals from Government Ministries and Agencies, Private Sector Employers, Consulting Engineers, Contractors, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Legal Advisers and all involved with the implementation and management of large Works Contracts. It is particularly important to those involved in preparing or managing infrastructure projects financed under MDBs' Funds, the EU Cohesion and Structural Funds, as all their Works Contracts use the FIDIC Conditions of Contract.

 

REGISTRATION FEE:

Fee per delegate is €900 per course and €1800 for both courses

Delegate Fee (includes coffee break and lunch, refreshments and all course materials)

Dipl.-Ing. Robert Werth

Member of FIDIC, VBI, IKB-NRW, DRBF, MCIArb, DGA-Bau, DIS e.V., GMAA

He  is listed on the German list of Adjudicators; he is FIDIC Accredited International Trainer and affiliated Member of FIDIC.

He founded ´Werth-Consult´ in 2008 and provides consulting services for international contracts, specially related to claims, disputes and dispute avoidance and staff  training.

 FIDIC Trainings:

  • Several in-house courses for Employer’s/Engineering Companies, main focus on tender preparation, Red Book, Yellow Book
  • Several in-house courses for Contractors, main focus on claim management
  • German-FIDIC-Seminars, Berlin, Germany, from 2008 as a junior Trainer, later Trainer
  • FIDIC for Practitioners, Copenhagen, Denmark from 2010 and Zagreb, Croatia from 2013, Cyprus from 2015, annually

FIDIC Adjudication:

  • Acting in Adjudication as a sole Adjudicator or in a board.
  • Acting as a party adviser for preparation or implementation of dispute adjudication/arbitration procedures.

  • FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction 1999 Edition (Red Book)
  • FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Plant & Design-Build, 1999 Edition – (Yellow Book)
  • Schedule of overheads used during the seminar – to be used as “Work Book”
  • Work Exercises
